Pre-Conference Classes:
ModelBuilder
Overview: In this short course, students will be introduced to the geoprocessing environment in ArcGIS. Participants will learn how to create, share, and modify models for analysis and streamlining processing tasks. The focus of the course is to provide an introduction to the geoprocessing environment in ArcGIS using the ArcGIS ModelBuilder with hands-on exercises.
Audience: This course is for data managers and analysts who have an understanding of the ArcGIS desktop applications and are ready to make use of the geoprocessing environment in ArcGIS. New and existing data managers interested in migrating to the Geodatabase environment can benefit from taking this course also.
GPS Field Exercise
Field Exercise:Intended for both novice and experienced users of GPS. This exercise will involve tracking your location and collecting points to display on aerial photography within a GIS project. This hands-on workshop will also teach you the basics of using simple GPS devices to navigate around Carey Park in downtown Hutchinson.
Pre-Conference classes allow a limited number of participants reserved on a first-come basis. You will receive email confirmation of your registration detailing class time and location. |
