  • Kansas Natural Resources GIS Technical Meeting- April 6

Salina, KS

The objective of this meeting is to provide a venue for GIS professionals in natural resources conservation to collaborate on potential projects, share technical knowledge, build professional and organizational relationships and learn from other natural resources GIS professionals.

KDOR: Property Valuation Division, 300 SW 29th St, Topeka

We will have presentations and discussions regarding various options, pros and cons of operating some or all of your GIS activities in the cloud. Topics include cloud options available, costs, architecture concepts, feasibility and general Cloud familiarization.

·         The Kansas Association of County Surveyors 7th annual conference will be held May 5, 2017 in Emporia, Kansas. This year's annual meeting is worth 6 PHDs. To register please fill out the registration form and return it no later than Friday, April 28th. Registration is limited to 40 people. ·         The Kansas County Appraisers Association will be offering a 4-day long American Cadastre course (see description here) presented by Rick Norejko from TEAM Consulting, in Garden City, KS on August 28-31, 2017. The cost of the course is $375. You can register on the KCAA website- http://www.kscaa.net/. The course would be suitable for other county officials and private appraisers so if you could help us out and distribute the information to others it would be appreciated!
