We're excited to announce that registration is officially open for the 41st Annual Kansas Association of Mappers Conference, taking place October 6–9, 2026, at the Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview in Wichita, Kansas. This year's theme, "Mapping on the Chisholm Trail," celebrates Kansas' rich history while looking ahead to the future of GIS and geospatial technology.

Whether you're a longtime KAM member or attending for the first time, you'll find valuable technical sessions, networking opportunities, hands-on learning, exhibitors showcasing the latest technology, and plenty of chances to connect with GIS professionals from across Kansas and beyond.

This year's conference will feature:

  • An inspiring keynote presentation from Brandi Rank, PMP, Principal Product Engineer at Esri.
  • Educational breakout sessions covering real-world GIS projects, AI, automation, data management, drones, LiDAR, and much more.
  • A Student Map Gallery, networking events, and opportunities to learn from peers across local government, utilities, academia, and private industry.

We're also excited to offer pre-conference workshops again this year. Workshop registration will open soon, with additional information and the full workshop lineup expected to be released within the next week or so. Keep an eye out for that announcement!

If you've been thinking about attending, now is the perfect time to reserve your spot.
