Join GeoDev KC on Thursday October 8th when Vinicius Grassi & Austin Wheat presents on the tools from HERE Technologies.
HERE has some fantastic free/open source web GIS tools (both studio and developer versions) GIS peeps and developers can use. We could give a presentation on our studio tool and our APIs, give the group few demos of what they can do with the tools, and get them set up with a freemium HERE account to play around with.

Hearty congratulations to Diana Restrepo-Osorio, who is KAM's 2020 recipient of the John Cowan Memorial Scholarship in Geography! Ms. Restrepo-Osorio is a doctoral candidate in Geography at the University of Kansas. Her recent projects focus on land and water use among the members of the Alianza del Pastizal (Grassland Alliance) in the Southern Cone Region of South America. We wish her safe travels to Uruguay whenever she is able to make her trip to share her findings with the participants in her most recent study!
In compliance with the State's recommendations on social distancing, we have decided to postpone the April 7 offering of ArcGIS Online: Beginner to Intermediate. Our instructors are still eager to offer the class, so as soon as we get the all-clear from KDHE, we will reschedule.
