2020 Class Schedule
All April classes have been postponed due to the CDC's recommendations for social distancing. We hope to reschedule once the restrictions have been relaxed.
All three KAM classes are sponsored by Surdex Corporation, who will provide lunch at no additional cost.
ArcGIS Online: Beginner to Intermediate
This class will examine the uses of local data within ArcGIS Online. Attendees will learn:
Audience for this class includes: GIS personnel new to ArcGIS Online, appraisers, any other local staff looking to begin utilizing ArcGIS Online for their mapping and analysis needs as well as seasoned users looking for new ideas.
Requirements: Participants must bring their own laptop and have their own ArcGIS Online account set up prior to attending.
Introduction to ArcGIS ProRegister
Learn the basics of ArcGIS Pro as we navigate our way through this new interface. The modern look of ArcGIS Pro can be intimidating, but it doesn’t need to be. This class will include a general overview that will familiarize you with Pro. We will show you how to work with maps and interact with layers. With practical examples, we will demonstrate working with data. Finally we will explore the many improvements ArcGIS Pro has when creating layouts.
This class will be held in a computer lab, so participants do not need to provide their own laptops.
Introduction to ArcadeRegister
This one-day workshop will get participants started with Arcade, the proprietary expression language developed by Esri for use in ArcGIS products. Designed with the novice in mind, the first half of the class will focus on the basic structure of the language, including syntax, constants, and functions. As the day progresses, we will delve deeper into creating code that works in the various profiles (Labeling, Popups, and Visualization), or parts of the ArcGIS platform that can consume Arcade.
Requirements: A working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online is recommended. No coding experience required.
