This one-day workshop will get participants started with Arcade, the proprietary expression language developed by Esri for use in ArcGIS products. Designed with the novice in mind, the first half of the class will focus on the basic structure of the language, including syntax, constants, and functions. As the day progresses, we will delve deeper into creating code that works in the various profiles (Labeling, Popups, and Visualization), or parts of the ArcGIS platform that can consume Arcade.
Requirements: Participants must bring their own laptop with ArcGIS Pro installed and have their own ArcGIS Online account set up prior to attending. A working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online is recommended. No coding experience required.
